There are 64,000 missing black women Not one of them received media coverage like Gabby Petito. It’s the only thing I’ve thought about since the start of this story. Sad ending to the search for Gabby, but the underreporting of missing black girls across this country is vile. pic.twitter.com/qaMUALuaZN
FACT: Medicaid saves lives. RT if you think Congress should include a Medicaid fix that is comprehensive and permanent to close the coverage gap in Georgia and nationwide.

Gabby Petito being found because of a YouTuber who was editing her videos, saw the van & immediately told authorities is so crazy to me. If there was media coverage like this for all the other missing people, there would be a huge chance for others to be found too.

Where is the attention for these woman and girls?
I'm not saying it's not a tragedy what happened to
but there is literally NO media coverage for the hundreds/thousands of missing Indigenous woman or Black woman.
Yesterday’s Word Wide Freedom Rally in NYC where we marched from Columbus Circle to Times Square was eye opening for me. All my fear dissolved. This thread will be pictures and videos from it as I see pretty much no coverage. This is a picture someone took of me with my sign. pic.twitter.com/ZlNtIVk2gi
Indigenous women go missing all the time. Trail of tears, etc. yet it doesn’t get the same coverage of Gabby. It’s not a slight on gabby but on media selective coverage on those type of domestic issues.
When a white woman goes missing it's all over national news and when a black or Indigenous woman goes missing it barely merits local coverage
There was more media coverage of the jacket Melania wore during a visit to the border than Kamala’s refusal to go there at all.
Soooo...there are lot of refugees from Haiti at the TX border. MSM in the US seems obsessed with this. Why is it though that whenever I watch American news I NEVER see this much coverage about the homeless under bridges INSIDE of the country? Does this not also count as a crisis?
