I pride myself on being a smart woman. A solid woman. A growing woman. A healing woman. A relatable woman. Versatile. Dynamic. Not just a pretty woman.
I’m genuinely so tired of passive protagonists who are reader stand-ins and are meant to be “relatable” (who ultimately lack unique characteristics). Write protagonists with immense flaws, with great drives and motives. Just write protagonists who have actual character.
i’m watching 14x04 and dean hiding in his room eating pizza and watching movies because there are strangers in his house is so relatable
Very insightul piece and relatable piece. I remember being briefly teased about having big lips in school but honestly I was confused as to why this was an issue so it didn't affect me at all lmao.https://www.refinery29.com/en-gb/learning-to-love-my-lips-as-a-black-woman …
